What Mommy Says...

You learn a lot about yourself and your parenting techniques when your kid is playing "Mommy" with her toys in the backseat. First, when she plays "Mommy," her toys do not become "Baby" or "Daughter," they are all her "Sweethearts." So I got a hit and a miss this week:

HIT: "Sweetheart, you wanna go home and plant some bulbs? Ok, let's go plant bulbs." (awww)
MISS: "Sweetheart, I tell you twenty times... stay. by. me." (after a frustrating trip to Target)

SO funny!!

And if 'Stay. by. me." is the most firm thing you say, I sure hope you never catch me disciplining my kids at Target.
