Finding Joy

There are souls in this world which have their gift of finding joy everywhere and of leaving it behind them when they go. - Frederick William Faber

Being the mom of a little girl is almost as fun as being a little girl all over again myself. I love sharing the giggles! I especially love how Sophie finds joy in the simplest things, like Megan and Kaylie's high school graduation (side note: we're so proud!). There were two long-winded grownups, an amazingly horrendous semi-operatic high school rendition of Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" (ew, I sound mean) and 650 names read over the loudspeaker. Yet, my girl and her Allie thought is was a whopping good time. They thought the principal's name, Chip Coop, was a gas.

These photos are fuzzy, because they're tiny moments I only had time to capture on my phone's camera with a lens probably covered in Lucky Charm dust from inside my purse.

While I'm at it, who knew a trip to Costco could be so fun?!
